Might Not Be Around The Board Much...

I just wanted to let everyone here know that I might not be around much, except to drop in and read posts, until next weekend.

The reason being is that I have just found out that my 7 year old Black Lab/Chow mix Harley is going to have to be put down due to an aggressive cancer that is in her lungs, spleen, and pancreas. She is scheduled to go in next weekend and I wanted to spend some quality time with her before I have to say goodbye.

So, if you don't see me around, this is why.

My heart-felt condolences. Had to do the same thing with my 9-year old yellow Lab, Timberlea's Zacheriah Highhand (Zack), just a couple of years ago. Advanced hip dysplasia.

First, I'd just like to thank everyone for their well wishes.

Second, the deed was done yesterday. It certainly was difficult. I'm glad I was able to have one additional week to enjoy Harley's company.

Now that it is over, I plan on resuming my prior posting habits.
