Sooo, who's ready for the rapture and the start of God's judgement? What is your opinion on this upcoming event? There are several billboards right in my neighborhood, and according to this video, all over the whole world...

Another page posted the plans: "On Sunday, May 15, after the noon prayers, 'the holy advance will start and the Intifada will be ignited... On this day, all the returning [refugees] will set forth, and the Third Palestinian Intifada will commence, with the support of all the free people in the world.'"

The page lists the destinations of the march: In the West Bank, participants will march on the checkpoints and settlements; in Gaza, on the checkpoints and border crossings; within "the 1948 territories," toward cities and villages destroyed in the 1948 war; in Lebanon, toward Palestine by land and by sea; in Jordan, toward three areas on the border; in Syria, towards the Golan border; in Egypt, toward the Rafah border and toward the coast of Palestine by ship.

May 15 was picked, the pages explain, because it is the 63rd anniversary of the founding of Israel in 1948.

Warned another page, according to MEMRI, "We will have a single slogan: 'End the occupation.' We will put up our tents everywhere, and operate a radio station of the sit-down demonstration, broadcasting national songs not associated with any political faction. We will use pots and spoons to make a racket at night, and when we grow tired, we will blow whistles. We will not leave until the occupation leaves."

In a very odd way - I give them Props for actually hanging a real date out there, and a close one. No-> ... well...maybe, soon, in a few years, with a yellow moon over mars, when the silver Angel reveals himself to the Chosen... The date is set. BAM. Here it is.

Flip side ot props - When it fails to come to fruition, then I'm sure we'll hear "well, we missread the numerology and it actually is...

The history of calling "End Times" is pretty much running 0%. No mortal will call it.

It should be noted that in the video there is mention of needing to cry out to God. Therefore, it will come as no surprise to me when May 22nd finds these people claiming there must have been such an outcry of repentance that was pleasing and acceptable to God, and consequently, He spared us

Predicting dates of the end of the world, and/or the world as we know it, that are unambiguous is a big gamble for a religious group to do, but it has been done by several different groups. One example is the Jehovah's Witnesses who have done it repeatedly.

In the early 1920s, JWs zealously distributed on the streets and from door to door a book titled Millions Now Living Will Never Die. It was prophesied, "The year 1925 is a date definitely and clearly marked in the Scriptures, even more clearly than that of 1914 ... we may confidently expect that 1925 will mark the return of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and the faithful prophets of old ... to the condition of human perfection" ("Millions Now Living Will Never Die," The Watchtower, 7/15/24, p. 89). The JWs even built a house in San Diego where the patriarchs were to live and tried to deed it to King David. (The house was quietly sold in 1954.) In the early 1940s, JWs were declaring that Armageddon, only months away, would end World War II and the defeat of the Nazis would usher in God's rule on earth (The Watchtower, 12/41). Their book, Children, suggested that plans to marry and have children be postponed until after Armageddon. It's been a long wait! Not giving up, they later prophesied that God's millennial kingdom would commence in 1975. Again JWs were told not to engage in any plans for this world, including marriage and having children. Such predictions are not limited to the religions of the world, either.

In 1919, Albert Porta an expert seismographer and meteorologist predicted that a conjunction of six planets on this date would spell the end of the world. The alignment of planets would cause a magnetic current which would pierce the sun and thereby engulf the earth in flames. Every year since humans have been around , no doubt one tribe or another has had "holy" men predicting the end. Sooner or later someone will get guess the lucky number, I am guessing, not tis time.

I would suggest that by the teachings of the bible itself, no man can predict the date of the end days, so he is a false prophet along with others who inject fear to others on this date.

Agreed, Rick. Those signs are by their nature false. While we are surely in for a tough ride and, who knows, maybe a judgement day, if those folks are right, it is not divine intervention but sheer luck.

Look for me at work and home that day. Same as most days. When a judgement may come, my house is in order.
