Wow. Just wow... I'm not too good with my left but I would have hit that fucker right in his nose if I were in that situation. That or a headbutt would work I suppose. Put that asshole right back in his place.

I can't even tell you how this video makes my blood just fucking boil watching a "representative" of the people act like this.

hm i don't think he should have gone and got physical with them, but it sure seems like a set up job by the college kids to me. if they were legit they would have said we are from UNC journalism department or something like that.

course the rep. overreacted but then again i'm sure they get nutjobs like that on them all the time. kind of a lose-lose situation for the congressman.

i can't say i blame him for not wanting to talk to these random guys on a city sidewalk (as in, they weren't in a pressroom or known press etc). he should have gone about it in a different way though.

I think that the Congressman should be smart enough not to commit any kind of assualt with a camera on him. He should have done it like the smart politicians and thugs. Had his goons thump them in the middle of the night when the camera is not rolling. ;-)

It may well have been an ambush interview trying to get a "gotcha" quote from the Rep but the fact is, they are supposed to be professional enough to use the famous "No comment" line and keep walking. That type of thing happens all the time to them.

Personally, it looks to me like the Rep had a bit of a "liquid lunch" and let his emotions get the better of him. Too bad that excuse wouldn't fly in court and he'd likely be convicted of Battery if the individual in question wanted to press charges.

In my opinion:

"Whatcha gonna do about that? You gonna stop us, Stein? Ha. You're gonna look pretty funny tryin' to eat corn on the cob with no fuckin' teeth!"
