    Default recovery.gov

So, I was looking at Recovery.gov after reading a Bloomberg editorial:
    http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?p...d=aUuHhaDx8Hr8

The Recovery.gov shows a lot of info. Graphs and pie charts galore, but what is missed is the only data currently reported there is jobs created in government, nothing about the private sector and the dwindling number of employed.

    The Bloomberg piece states:
The Obama administration will report the larger universe of ARRA-related jobs on Oct. 30
That's today. Will that info show so close to an election? We shall see.

Also, on that website is a link at the top right to report "Fraud, Waste and Abuse".

Um, is it just me thinking that the whole country ought to report the current powers that be for such things?

I also note that by some oddness, a statistic by state showing unemployment, Virginia has as of this second a rate of 6.66%

I'm a dummy about money, but I've been able to assimilate the "dollar index", and I figured out the FRB/treasury scheme decades ago. Yet I have no "basics" on the stock market. Where do I read basic q/a faq about
    1. Whats the difference between nasdaq and dow?
    2. Whats a derivative?
    3. What's the difference between a hedge fund and futures trading?
    4. What about selling a stock short? or long for that matter?
    5. What's the difference between preferred stock and common shares?
    6. What's the difference between dividends and interest.
    7. Here's a biggie. How much clout do "Russian tycoons", mafia or SCO investors have to make huge buys/sales/withdrawals- shutdowns.
