They hate you.
Leftists don’t merely disagree with you. They don’t merely feel you are misguided. They don’t think you are merely wrong. They hate you. They want you enslaved and obedient, if not dead. Once you get that, everything that is happening now will make sense. And you will understand what you need to be ready to do.
You are normal, and therefore a heretic. You refuse to bow to their idols, to subscribe to their twisted catechisms, to praise their false gods. This is unforgivable. You must burn.
Crazy talk? Just ask them. Go ahead. Go on social media. Find a leftist – it’s easy. Just say something positive about America or Jesus and they’ll come swarming like locusts. Engage them and very quickly they will drop their masks and tell you what they really think. I know. I keep a rapidly expanding file of Twitter leftist death wish screenshots.
They will tell you that Christians are idiots and vets are scum.
That normals are subhumans whose role is to labor as serfs to subsidize the progressive elite and its clients.
That you should die to make way for the New Progressive Man/Woman/Other.
Understand that when they call Donald Trump “illegitimate,” what they are really saying is that our desire to govern ourselves is illegitimate. Their beef isn’t with him – it’s with us, the normal people who dared rise up and demand their right to participate in the rule of this country and this culture.
They hate you, because by defying them you have prevented them from living up to the dictates of their false religion. Our rebelliousness has denied them the state of grace they seek, exercising their divine right to dictate every aspect of our puny lives. Their sick faith gives meaning to these secular weirdos, giving them something that fills their empty lives with a messianic fervor to go out and conquer and convert the heathens.
And the heathens are us.
Oh, there are different leftist sects. There are the social justice warriors who have manufactured a bizarre mythology and scripture of oppression, privilege, and intersectionality. Instead of robes, they dress up as genitals and kill babies as a blasphemous sacrament. Then there are the pagan weather religion oddballs convinced that the end is near and that we must repent by turning in our SUVs. Of course, the “we” is really “us” – high priests of the global warming cult like Leonardo DiCaprio will still jet around the world with supermodels while we do the ritual sacrificing of our modern comforts. Then there are the ones who simply worship themselves, the elitists who believe that all wisdom and morality has been invested in them merely because they went to the right college, think the right thoughts, and sneer at anyone living between I-5 and I-95.
But all the leftist sects agree – they have found the revealed truth, and imposing it upon the benighted normals like us is so transcendently important that they are relieved of any moral limitations. They are ISIS, except with hashtags instead of AKs, committed to the establishment of a leftist caliphate.
You wonder why the left is now justifying violence? Because they think that helps them right now. Today it’s suddenly OK to punch a “Nazi.” But the punchline is that anyone who opposes them is a “Nazi.”
You wonder why they ignore the rule of law, why they could switch on a dime from screaming at Trump for refusing to preemptively legitimize a Hillary win and then scream that he is illegitimate the moment she lost? Because their only principle is what helps the left win today. That’s why the media gleefully, happily lies every single day about every single thing it reports. Objectivity? When that stopped being a useful thing, it stopped being a thing at all.
They are fanatics, and by not surrendering, by not kneeling, and by not obeying, you have committed an unpardonable sin. You have defied the Left, and you must be broken. They will take your job, slander your name, even beat or kill you – whatever it takes to break you and terrify others by making you an example. Your defiance cannot stand; they cannot allow this whole Trump/GOP majority thing to get out of control. They must crush this rebellion of the normal, and absolutely nothing is off the table.
We’ve seen them burn UC Berkeley and how the police controlled by the leftist state government of California stood by and watched as Americans were beaten by the mob. Why? Because the government of the State of California approves of the violence. Do you think it’s a coincidence that California is doing everything it can to disarm its normals?
The Left won’t say it out loud – at least not yet – but make no mistake. If violence is what it takes for the Left to prevail, then violence we will have. You saw it, and you were meant to. Berkeley was a message about the price of dissent where leftist hold sway. And they seek to hold sway everywhere
How to we respond?
The first step is to end the denial. Open your eyes. See what is happening. Don’t allow yourself to be deluded by false nostalgia for a past period of cultural peace that existed only because, at that time, the Left was winning. They hate you. Look at Twitter. Look at Facebook. Try and tell yourself that leftists are just nice people who disagree with you on a few policy details. Stop fooling yourself.
Understand that this must get much worse before it can get better. We may wish to stop the cultural/political struggle, but they can’t stop. Their religion tells them we are greedy, racist, sexist, homophobe morons who hate science and love Hitler. How could they tolerate us? How could they ever allow us power?
They can’t. Their sick ideology and false theology requires that we be enslaved or exterminated – we can’t be tolerated, and we certainly can’t be allowed to hold the reins of power. I hoped that my novel People’s Republic, about what lies at the bottom of this blood-soaked slippery slope, would be rendered moot by the GOP’s victory in November. I was wrong. The Left has redoubled its efforts.
So the only outcome is that one side wins and the other loses. There’s no truce to be had, no possibility of a tie. And the frightening thing is that the Left is so foolish, so stuck in its bubble that it has no understanding that it can only push so far before the people with all the guns and all the training push back. That’s the problem with kids who were raised on participation trophies and who never got into a fistfight – they don’t consider the possibility that they will lose, and lose hard.
We must ensure they do. Understand your enemy. Understand that the Left will exploit your principles and morals to make you disarm yourself – figuratively and literally. Don’t play their game; don’t fall for their manufactured outrages. Never concede their lies, never take their side against the people defending your liberty. Most of all, accept the truth that if we let them win we will spend the rest of our lives on our backs with a giant Birkenstock pressed into our collective face.
They hate us. And however they come at us, we need to be prepared to fight.

Join us February 17, 2017 for a national general strike!
This grassroots movement is calling for a national general strike on Feburary 17th, 2017 in defense of our nation’s constitution. Participants pledge to be non-violent.
On the day of the strike, we will not go to work (unless absolutely necessary). We will not go to school (unless necessary).
We will not spend any money (unless necessary).
Instead, we will show dissent with unconstitutional governance through gatherings and activities to be organized at the local/personal level.
Some communities are planning a day of service. Instead of work, strikers will dedicate their time to serving neighbors in need. Find your people.

In a piece she wrote for The Guardian last month, novelist Francine Prose posited that President Donald Trump’s executive order barring immigrants from seven majority-Muslim countries from traveling to the U.S. for 90 days called for more than simple protests: “Trump’s actions warrant a general national strike,” the headline read. Now that idea is gaining support online.
While the travel ban hangs in limbo, Prose laments what some have termed “slacktivism”: or the general “feel-good” result of lodging a complaint by attending a protest, but achieving little more than a pat on the back from other activists:
Since Trump’s election, we’ve seen dozens of demonstrations – most notably, the Women’s March on Washington – that have reinforced our sense of solidarity and provided encouraging evidence of how many Americans oppose our government’s fundamentally anti-American agenda.
But the trouble is that these protests are too easily ignored and forgotten by those who wish to ignore and forget them. The barriers go up, the march takes place, the barriers come down. Everyone goes home happier.
So, presumably in order to really achieve something, Prose says she believes that America should engage in “a nonviolent national general strike” of the kind more common in Europe than stateside. “Let’s designate a day on which no one (that is, anyone who can do so without being fired) goes to work, a day when no one shops or spends money, a day on which we truly make our economic and political power felt, a day when we make it clear: how many of us there are, how strong and committed we are, how much we can accomplish,” she writes.
An official site for the event calling for a “24-hour occupation of public space in protest of the Trump administration’s refusal to Honor the Constitution of the United States of America,” was created. The strike also has a social media presence with a Facebook event that has 23,000 interested and 14,000 committed to attending.
The “demands” of the strike listed on the event page are enumerated:
1. No Ban, No Wall. The Muslim ban is immoral, the wall is expensive and ineffectual. We will build bridges, not walls.
2. Healthcare For All. Healthcare is a human right. Do not repeal the ACA. Improve it or enact Medicare for All.
3. No Pipelines. Rescind approval for DAPL and Keystone XL and adopt meaningful policies to protect our environment. It’s the only one we’ve got.
4. End the Global Gag Rule. We cannot put the medical care of millions of women around the globe at risk.
5. Disclose and Divest. Show us your taxes. Sell your company. Ethics rules exist for a reason and presidents should focus on the country, not their company.
The strike is thus far tentatively scheduled for February 17 — the Friday before President’s Day — that may have originated with with writer David Simon, creator of The Wire. He tweeted about the idea last Saturday, two days before Prose’s piece appeared in The Guardian, reports SFist.

While there’s no guarantee the strike will be a success, there have been calls for nationwide strikes before, most notably near the end of the Occupy Wall Street protests on May Day 2012.

NEW YORK – “Get involved in the upcoming revolution!”
That’s what a Columbia University student was telling passers-by on campus Monday as he handed out flyers for a Thursday event calling for a new socialist order in response to Donald Trump’s presidency.
If the “revolution” indeed started on Thursday, it amounted to gushing over how much political violence can accomplish for socialism.
The Barnard-Columbia Socialists, which includes students from Columbia and its sibling women’s college, used Monday’s daylong campus protests and demonstrations against Trump’s executive order on immigration to promote their similar event, “The Case for Socialist Organization.”
The socialists’ flyer called for students to “Unite!” and fight Trump “to defend immigrants from deportation, safeguard abortion and reproductive rights, stand up against racist police violence, protect public education, preserve our unions, and save the planet.”
Resist the ‘pleasures of capitalism’
Its stark rhetoric apparently worked, because the Thursday event’s meeting room – a small classroom typically reserved for seminars – was packed. Students who arrived late had to sit on the floor or stand.
The open-forum discussion meant that anyone could raise a hand and bring up any topic they wished, but the purportedly anti-Trump meeting turned into a miscellaneous discussion of socialist and communist tactics.
Many attendees questioned whether previous activism against Trump and his boosters, including anti-feminist provocateur Milo Yiannopoulos, had been violent enough to stop the “racist” and “anti-gay” president from turning into a fascist dictator.
Several students chuckled when another said that aiming fireworks at campus buildings was effective, apparently referring to Yiannopoulos’s scheduled Wednesday appearance at the University of California-Berkeley. That administration canceled the event in the face of widespread violence and property destruction by alleged non-student protesters who set off fireworks, threw bricks and even pepper sprayed a Trump supporter.
And amid raucous protests to stop his appearance at the University of Washington several days earlier, one person in the crowd got shot in the stomach.
Thursday’s Columbia meeting had a distinct anti-capitalist air. Participants not only discussed how to organize more effectively, but warned each other to avoid the “pleasures of capitalism” and denounced the “racist Electoral College” that delivered the presidency to Trump.
One unidentified student said the end goal was the “transition to communism.”
The discussion wasn’t a surprise given the Barnard-Columbia socialist group’s official webpage:
War, poverty, exploitation and oppression are products of the capitalist system, a system in which a minority ruling class profits from the labor of the majority. The alternative is socialism, a society based on workers collectively owning and controlling the wealth their labor creates.
We stand in the Marxist tradition, founded by Karl Marx and Frederick Engels, and continued by V.I. Lenin, Rosa Luxemburg and Leon Trotsky.
In the spirit of this endorsement, the meeting room chalkboard displayed a misspelled quote attributed to the communist leader Lenin: “There are decades where nothing happens, and there are weeks when decades happens.”
‘It’s kind of like when you throw a tantrum’
Like the socialists who canvassed there, participants in the Monday campus protests also saw a bigger threat to America than the plain words of Trump’s immigration executive order would suggest, to say nothing of Trump’s decision to keep a pro-LGBTQ executive order from his predecessor.
Most declined to talk to The Fix about why they were protesting, and what bothered them about a temporary pause in accepting certain immigrants to improve vetting systems.
“If you do the research, no country that [Trump] has put a ban on … No immigrant or refugee from there has been the result of a terrorist attack,” a student who identified himself as Lucky Schreiner told The Fix. “It seems like a bad solution to what may or may not be a problem according to the different sides … He’s just trying to appease his voters and keep promises.”
The seven Muslim-majority countries targeted by Trump’s order were named in a 2016 law, during the Obama administration, as “countries of concern” regarding immigration visas.
Another observer related a conversation he overheard as a father and young son passed the protesters.
“The kid asked what a protest was, and the dad said, ‘it’s kind of like when you throw a tantrum,’” the observer told The Fix, declining to identify himself.
“That just really stuck with me, and I think that person was totally right! At the end of the day, we used the democratic system we built to vote this man into office, and people can whine all they want to, but this system is in place for a reason, and so it’s going to stand.”

“In response to the record number of hate crimes against Latinxs, Immigrants, Muslims, Women, the LGBTQIA+ community, Jews, African Americans and other minorities since the rise of Donald Trump and other Alt-Right Neo-Nazis, Knights for Socialism has decided to host a series of self-defense clinics for anyone that wants to learn how to BASH THE FASH,” asserts the Facebook event page for “Leftist Fight Club: The Rumbles at Lake Claire.”

The description explains that a local amateur boxer was on hand to teach basic hand-to-hand combat techniques at the self-defense clinic, in order to help the socialist students better protect themselves from potential hate crimes performed by those sympathetic to “Donald Trump and other Alt-Right Neo-Nazis.”
After the instruction, students were given the opportunity to practice what they learned by sparring with one another.
The event planners specifically urged women to attend because they expect a rise in sexual violence due to the election of President Trump.
“Ladies: The Commander in thief is a sexual predator and rapist,” the description warns. “He has normalised sexual assault and it is expected that sexual violence against women is going to skyrocket in the next 12 months. Please join us! There will be other women there for you to spar against!”
The organizers also imply that they are looking forward to unprotected sparring, remarking that “We will have gloves and pads, no bare-knuckle yet .”
Scott Benton, a UCF College Republican, told Campus Reform that he considers the impulse toward violence to be a natural consequence of the intellectual indefensibility of leftists beliefs, saying, “If you can’t hang with someone on a debate stage, then you resort to other means to try and justify your cause.”
Other students, however, say they feel less safe on campus because of the event.
Campus Reform obtained an email exchange in which a UCF student alerts the Dean of Student Conduct, Dana Juntunen, to the existence of the “disturbing event,” to which Juntunen replied by thanking the student for bringing the event to the school’s attention and stating that campus administrators would be “looking further into this.”
“This event is open to everyone and anyone, EXCEPT REPUBLICANS,” the Facebook event page proudly proclaims.
Karis Lockhart, chair of the UCF College Republicans, put it simply, telling Campus Reform that “the fact that the description of the event says ‘everyone except republicans’ means they don't want to hold an educational discussion about the issues, they just want to whine.”

In every iteration these mobilizations entailed physical combat. The failure of early-20th-century fighters to keep fascist regimes at bay speaks more to the paucity of numbers than the problem of their direct confrontational tactics.

When former President Barack Obama said he was “heartened” by anti-Trump protests, he was sending a message of approval to his troops. Troops? Yes, Obama has an army of agitators — numbering more than 30,000 — who will fight his Republican successor at every turn of his historic presidency. And Obama will command them from a bunker less than two miles from the White House.
In what’s shaping up to be a highly unusual post-presidency, Obama isn’t just staying behind in Washington. He’s working behind the scenes to set up what will effectively be a shadow government to not only protect his threatened legacy, but to sabotage the incoming administration and its popular “America First” agenda.
He’s doing it through a network of leftist nonprofits led by Organizing for Action. Normally you’d expect an organization set up to support a politician and his agenda to close up shop after that candidate leaves office, but not Obama’s OFA. Rather, it’s gearing up for battle, with a growing war chest and more than 250 offices across the country.
Since Donald Trump’s election, this little-known but well-funded protesting arm has beefed up staff and ramped up recruitment of young liberal activists, declaring on its website, “We’re not backing down.” Determined to salvage Obama’s legacy,”it’s drawing battle lines on immigration, ObamaCare, race relations and climate change.
Obama is intimately involved in OFA operations and even tweets from the group’s account. In fact, he gave marching orders to OFA foot soldiers following Trump’s upset victory.
“It is fine for everybody to feel stressed, sad, discouraged,” he said in a conference call from the White House. “But get over it.” He demanded they “move forward to protect what we’ve accomplished."
“Now is the time for some organizing,” he said. “So don’t mope.”
Run by old Obama aides and campaign workers, federal tax records show “nonpartisan” OFA marshals 32,525 volunteers nationwide. Registered as a 501(c)(4), it doesn’t have to disclose its donors, but they’ve been generous. OFA has raised more than $40 million in contributions and grants since evolving from Obama’s campaign organization Obama for America in 2013.
OFA, in IRS filings, says it trains young activists to develop “organizing skills.” Armed with Obama’s 2012 campaign database, OFA plans to get out the vote for Democratic candidates it’s grooming to win back Congress and erect a wall of resistance to Trump at the other end of Pennsylvania Avenue.
It will be aided in that effort by the Obama Foundation, run by Obama’s former political director, and the National Democratic Redistricting Committee, launched last month by Obama pal Eric Holder to end what he and Obama call GOP “gerrymandering” of congressional districts.
Obama will be overseeing it all from a shadow White House located within two miles of Trump. It features a mansion, which he’s fortifying with construction of a tall brick perimeter, and a nearby taxpayer-funded office with his own chief of staff and press secretary. Critical to the fight is rebuilding the ravaged Democrat Party. Obama hopes to install his former civil-rights chief Tom Perez at the helm of the Democratic National Committee.
Perez is running for the vacant DNC chairmanship, vowing “It’s time to organize and fight . . . We must stand up to protect President Obama’s accomplishments;” while also promising, “We’re going to build the strongest grass-roots organizing force this country has ever seen.”
The 55-year-old Obama is not content to go quietly into the night like other ex-presidents.
“You’re going to see me early next year,” he said after the election, “and we’re going to be in a position where we can start cooking up all kinds of great stuff.”
Added the ex-president: “Point is, I’m still fired up and ready to go.”

Obama implies he’ll be more vocal about issues after he leaves office

Many U.S. presidents, upon leaving office, try to fade from the national spotlight and live the rest of their lives as private citizens.
President Barack Obama implied in a Vanity Fair interview that he might choose to go a different route.
In the interview conducted by presidential historian Doris Kearns Goodwin, Obama talked about his use of the term “radical Islam,” how he would miss Air Force One and his desire to make the world better.
Then there’s a short bit where he hints at what life after the presidency might look like for him, a relatively young 55 years old as he exits the office. He says there are some things he suspects he’ll be able to accomplish better after being president.
“Having had this office has given me this incredible perch from which to see how the world works. The power of the office is unique and it is a humbling privilege,” Obama said. “With that power, however, also comes a whole host of institutional constraints. There are things I cannot say. There are things that...”
“You mean now, but you will later,” Goodwin prods.
“That I cannot say, not out of any political concerns, but out of prudential concerns of the office,” Obama continues. “There are institutional obligations I have to carry out that are important for a president of the United States to carry out, but may not always align with what I think would move the ball down the field on the issues that I care most deeply about.”
Obama has spoken passionately about many subjects as president, one being police violence against black men. He said after the death of Trayvon Martin in Florida that “we need to spend some time in thinking about how do we bolster and reinforce our African American boys.”
“You know, when Trayvon Martin was first shot I said that this could have been my son. Another way of saying that is Trayvon Martin could have been me 35 years ago,” Obama said. “I think it’s important to recognize that the African American community is looking at this issue through a set of experiences and a history that doesn’t go away.”
Once Obama leaves office, and those “institutional constraints” have lifted, we’ll see what issues he decides to address.

With Legacy At Risk, Democrats In Disarray, Obama Vows To Fight Trump As Private Citizen
“I’m going to be constrained in what I do with all of you until I am again

In 2008, with Republicans having been handed a massive defeat that resulted
in Democrat control of all three branches of government in Washington D.C.,
George W. Bush decided to do the honorable thing by bowing to the will
of the people and vowing not to publicly criticize the new President-elect.
Now, 8 years later, President Obama finds himself in the exact same position
as the American people have dealt his "legacy" a massive blow by handing
Republicans total control of Congress and the White House.
But, unlike Bush, who had the humility to accept the will of the electorate,
according to the New York Times, Obama has every intention of sticking around
Washington D.C. in his retirement to fight the newly elected president.
While White House aides say they expect Obama to try to refrain from criticizing
Trump during the transition, Obama himself has indicated that all bets are off
once he becomes a "private citizen."
“I’m going to be constrained in what I do with all of you until I am
again a private citizen,” Mr. Obama, who will be living a few miles from
the White House next year, told a meeting this past week of Organizing for
Action, the group that maintains his political movement. “But that’s not
so far off.”
For Mr. Obama, a return to the partisan fray was never the intention.
His library and foundation will serve as a platform for him to travel
around the world, confront systemic issues of race relations, and push
for technological change aimed at improving society.
But that vision assumed that his presidential legacy would be
protected and nurtured by Mrs. Clinton in the Oval Office.
In his remarks to activists, Mr. Obama urged them
to stop moping and to ratchet up their opposition
to Mr. Trump by Thanksgiving.
He promised to join their cause soon after, telling them: “You’re going to see me early next year, and we’re
going to be in a position where we can start cooking
up all kinds of great stuff to do.”
He has echoed that message in private conversations, making it clear
that he may not completely pattern himself after George W. Bush,
who almost never criticized his successor.
One friend of Mr. Obama’s, who requested anonymity to discuss private
discussions with the president, said the election results seemed to have
made him more willing to remain part of the political debate.
“Everyone he talks to walks away with this impression,” the friend
said.
In an interview with The New Yorker this week, Mr. Obama said that if
Mrs. Clinton had won the election, he might have just turned over the keys
and walked away on Inauguration Day.
With Mr. Trump’s victory, he said he felt “some responsibility
to at least offer my counsel” to the Democratic Party’s
political warriors he leaves behind in Washington.
Why is it just so hard for Democrats to accept the fact that there is an unspoken
majority of the American electorate that is unhappy with their leftist policies and
Obama's "Hope & Change" farce.
But Obama isn't the only person gearing up for a fight with the Trump administration.
Neera Tanden, the President of the Center for American Progress who gained notoriety
for several controversial email exchanges with John Podesta exposed by WikiLeaks,
is already organizing protests in Washington D.C. for inauguration week.
We can't wait to see what kind of surprising characters Tanden, Robert Creamer
and George Soros can bus in from all over the country to provoke riots that can
then be blamed on the Trump administration.
Neera Tanden, an adviser to Mrs. Clinton and the president of the Center
for American Progress, a liberal think tank, said her organization
had begun hosting daily meetings and conference calls as it plots
the best way to resist Mr. Trump.
She called Mr. Trump’s first appointments extreme and said they
had helped to “stiffen the spines” of Democrats. And she said
the election had sparked a grass-roots awakening, with largely peaceful
protests across the country.
Two planned rallies in Washington — one for immigration and civil
rights on Jan. 14, and another focused on women the day after
the inauguration — were devised mostly by social media campaigns.
Activists in Washington expect hundreds of thousands of people to gather
for the second rally.
But Ms. Tanden warned of dangers posed by the Trump administration,
and warned against treating them “in normal Washington political terms.”
“I think the issue is, we do have the makings of an administration
that could do more damage to democratic norms than any
presidency in my lifetime,” she said.
Meanwhile, proving that they learned absolutely nothing from the 2016 election,
other democrats have said they're anxiously awaiting the return of Hillary Clinton
to the public scene.
Some Democrats say they are eager for Mrs. Clinton to re-emerge
after a period of recovery interrupted so far only by a speech to the
Children’s Defense Fund on Wednesday.
It is unclear when, or if, she might return to politics, though many
Democrats said they would welcome it. “She’s one tough lady,
and public service is in her blood,” said Representative Adam Schiff
of California. “Don’t expect her to go quietly into that good night.”
Almost two full weeks have passed since November 8th and democrats and the
mainstream media still have not figured out what happened on election night.
The election of Donald Trump was a wholesale rejection by the American electorate,
not just of Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, but of everything tied to the corrupt,
elitist, establishment ruling class in Washington D.C.
And just to be perfectly clear, this includes you folks at the New York Times
and all of the mainstream media that have been exposed by WikiLeaks
as nothing more than cheerleaders for the democratic party.
So, feel free to keep fighting these battles, organizing your protests
and lashing out at the American electorate for their decision...
although you haven't realized it yet... you've already lost the war.
Barack Obama has two faces. After Trump’s victory and Hillary’s defeat, the public Obama has been gracious and diplomatic. His lectures to Trump, directly and indirectly, are couched in praise. He echoed the feeling of millions on both sides when he said, "We are now all rooting for his success”.
That’s a lie. Or rather a disguise.
Obama and his aides had, in one insider narrative, decided to don the “mask of decorum”. The contempt for Trump still seeps through the mask. And the mask hides Obama’s next big move.
President Obama is over. He knows that. There are still some things that he can do before he leaves office, but everything except the most destructive, can be undone by his successor. The next phase of his campaign will not be fought from the White House. It will be fought against the White House .
The other Obama is emerging in conference calls with his supporters. “One of the challenges that I’ve discovered being president is I’d like to be organizer-in-chief, but it’s hard,” he said in one call.
Obama can no longer be commander-in-chief. Instead he’s plotting to become organizer-in-chief.
The infrastructure for the organization was put into place long before anyone thought that Hillary might lose. Organizing for Action gave him his own organizing hub. If Hillary had won, it would have been a pressure group. Now that Trump won, it’s an axis to build a personal counterrevolution around.
In his post-election conference call with his OFA troops, Obama told them, “I’m giving you like a week and a half to get over it”. Then it would be time to “move forward not only to protect what we’ve accomplished, but also to see this as an opportunity”. What opportunity could there be in Trump’s win?
Obama is now the only major national figure still standing among the Democrats. After Hillary’s defeat, he’s worked hard to attribute the loss to her shortcomings, not his policies and decisions. That’s not just to soothe his ego. If he’s going to dictate the future of his party, he can’t afford to be blamed for its latest disaster.And Obama is still determined to dictate the future of the party and the country.
In conventional politics, Obama is done. There’s no way back into the White House. And Hillary’s fate won’t leave much enthusiasm for nominating the uncharismatic spouse of a charismatic ex-president.
But Obama is not a conventional politician. He’s an organizer and a campaigner at the vanguard of a radical movement that seeks to control traditional institutions, but doesn’t feel bound by them. Unlike Bill Clinton, his plans don’t begin and end with the White House. As an organizer, Obama is equipped to build bases of power outside traditional institutions. And that is exactly what he is doing.
The demoralization of the Democrats is, as Obama put it, an opportunity. Social chaos is a time for the left to overthrow and undermine traditional institutions. Fear, anger and despair are radicalizing. The left has always operated by throwing bombs and then profiting from the fallout. That’s Obama’s agenda. Having wrecked the country and the Democrats, he sees that not as a setback, but as an opportunity.
“The network that you represent, you're perfectly poised to do that,” Obama told his OFAers. “In other words, now is the time for some organizing.”
While the leftist rioters in the streets are garnering the most attention, the real threat comes from the network of staffers dubbed Obama Anonymous which are beginning to organize and coordinate. OFA is Obama’s equivalent of the Clinton Foundation. The Clintons built Clintonworld around staffers, but its goal was harvesting money. Obama Inc. is being built around organizing and activism. Like Clintonworld, it will be a network encompassing a variety of political and non-profit institutions. Unlike them, it will be much less focused on directing money to its bosses in preparation for an election. Instead it will function like a traditional leftist movement, merging influence operations with crowdsourced mobilization.
OFA will be far more dangerous in the wild than the Clinton Foundation ever was. The Clintons hoped to ride back to power on a giant wave of money. Obama is taking a much more radical course.
The staffers exiting government are being wired into Obama Inc. whether or not they take jobs directly working for him. The OFA alumni are building networks across organizations while taking their marching orders from him. They expect Obama to lead them back from the wilderness and into the halls of power.
He’s told them so.
“I'm going to be constrained in what I do with all of you until I am again a private citizen. But that's not so far off,” he assured them. “I'm still fired up and I'm still ready to go.” His next comments promised that radical political change could and would take place.
Obama isn’t going to retire. He’s not going to spend years puttering around with a presidential library. He’s not even going to set up a Clintonesque slush fund and try to make his wife president. Instead he wants to force radical change from outside the White House by using the network he’s built.
While the public Obama wraps up business at the White House, concludes yet another world tour, alternating between praising Trump and offering him condescending advice, the other Obama is preparing to deploy a network that will dominate the Dems and set the agenda on the left.
If Obama succeeds, then he will get another shot at picking his White House successor. But beyond that, he’s been handed the keys to an organizing machine that will allow him to set even more of the agenda for his party than ever before. And he has a cause that is sending the party reeling back into his arms.
Obama believes that he can rule America from outside the White House. And he might be right.
Political norms and old rules have been falling faster than leaves in an autumn wind. If Obama sets out to move the center of power outside the White House and into an organization that will control national politics through the left, it would be dangerous to assume that he can’t and won’t succeed.
The Democrats didn’t respond to their defeat, one of a sequence, by trying to move to the center. Instead there is every sign that they are moving further to the left.Keith Ellison, a radical leftist with an anti-Semitic past, is tipped to head the DNC. Schumer still has the Senate, but Elizabeth Warren may have it before too long. Combine that with Obama as the president-in-exile and the Dems will be more radical and extremist than they were even when Obama was sitting in the White House.
The Democrats are ceasing to be a national party. Instead they are becoming a nationalizing party. They are losing their presence in much of the country, from state legislature to state legislature, and becoming the party of major cities and the national government. Their agenda is to move power from local areas to central ones, from the villages and the suburbs to the cities, from states to D.C. and from locally elected legislators in D.C. to the satellite bureaucracies of the Federal government.
Obama sees Hillary’s defeat as an opportunity to burn the Dem’s last bridges with the larger country and its “bitter clingers”, to double down on nationalizing power and to define the political narrative around the agendas of urban elites. The left crippled the Democrats. Now it wants to utterly consume them.
Barack Obama is still being vague and coy about his plans. He informs reporters that he will attack Trump when it comes to "core questions about our values and ideals". But the “faithful” are getting much clearer signals. “You’re going to see me early next year, and we’re going to be in a position where we can start cooking up all kinds of great stuff to do.”
The election was a catastrophic disaster for the Democrats, but it opened all sorts of doors for Obama.
Hillary’s defeat removes the Clintons, his only real internal rivals, off the stage. Trump’s triumph in working class areas cuts more ties with the traditional Dem base and transforms it into a party of left-wing urban elites and their radical agendas. And the popular figures on the left, Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, Keith Ellison, lack his national stature, speaking skills and organization.
Obama will move to consolidate the left. And then the Democrats. He will function as a president-in-exile heading up the opposition to Trump. When it comes to verbally challenging Trump, Obama will be more likely to be interviewed and heard than Ellison or Schumer. And his people will coordinate responses across the left from street level organizing to think tanks and policy moves.
Some of it is ego.
Obama believes that he can find the key to beating Trump in the traditional tactics of the left. But most is ideology and power. Obama is not done transforming America. And America isn’t done with him yet.

Portland police arrested one man following a protest that disrupted downtown traffic.
Sgt. Pete Simpson says 19-year-old Zachary Lange was charged with riot because of an encounter with a motorist Thursday evening.
Protesters said they wanted justice for a teenager who was shot and killed by a Portland police officer on Feb. 9. Police said the 17-year-old was a suspect in an armed robbery and had a replica firearm.

February 24, 2017 2:10 pm Union leaders in California continued a protest even after neighbors and police informed them they were at the wrong house because their target, Rep. Steve Knight (R., Calif.), had moved away months ago.
The group of over 50 protestors, who arrived in Service Employees International Union (SEIU) vans, carried a fake coffin to the house to send a message that Knight's votes in Congress were "killing" them, according to a report in the local Antelope Valley Press.
Police arrived at the scene to alert the union protestors that they were in the wrong place, but the activists—who had already been informed of this fact by neighbors—decided to continue the protest anyway. The police removed the protestors from the home's driveway and front lawn, where they were holding a candlelight vigil.

An aide to California State Assembly Leader Anthony Rendon defended the protestors, saying that it was not an "embarrassment."
"I don't see that this was an embarrassment," said Rendon aide Darren Parker. "What I saw was people are looking for solutions to uncertainty and sometimes they don't get the I's dotted and the T's crossed."
Parker added that he was pleased by the turnout at the failed protest.

FONT=inherit]Throughout February, protestors organized by the state Democratic Party have targeted the Southern California Republican at his local office. The protestors said that their efforts were based on an online guidebook called "Indivisible: A Practical Guide for Resisting the Trump Agenda."
Knight told local press that the decision to continue the protest outside of an ordinary citizens' home was "beyond anything I've ever seen."
"Why are people harassing folks who are not in Congress?" Knight asked.
The protest was part of a state-wide effort by the SEIU and other activists to target California Republicans on Obamacare and immigration issues.
A similar "protest vigil" was held at the house of Rep. Darrell Issa (R., Calif.). Issa was not home at the time of the protest, prompting his staff to label the demonstration "political theater."
"We should absolutely call out this silliness for exactly what it is: manufactured stunts to create political theater," said a spokesman for Issa's office.
"Everyone has the right to peaceably assemble and make their voices heard, but dragging the congressman’s wife and family into this goes beyond the pale," the spokesman said.
Issa's staff gave the protestors cookies.

American Liberalism has faced unprecedented challenges for decades. From the era of FDR to the ascendence of Bernie Sanders, Liberals, or Progressives, have often found themselves to be the targets of “un-American!” jabs and ignorant “Traitor!”-damning claims.
As Eric Alterman notes in his book The Cause, “Liberal” was often deemed to be a swear word, something to be avoided by true, red-blooded Americans if they did not want to appear to pose a challenge to “American values,” to appear “too soft” on crime, and so on. But there has been a shift in the paradigm; the Liberals of today now reject the “Third-Way” and red-bloodedness — instead, they embrace a blue bloodedness that has left them labeled as “snowflakes” and “feminazis,” as “SJWs,” “libtards,” and…most awkwardly, “Fascists.”
What has happened to produce this change politics? Well, the election of Donald J. Trump to the Presidency…if we’re being completely honest.
Donald J. Trump rose to prominence through a campaign of hateful rhetoric, and he continues to target different minority and under-represented, under-privileged groups through his executive orders. Rather than bringing people together, or simply pointing out divides currently plaguing America, he has opted to exacerbate disunity by playing the harmonica at the philharmonic…he seeks to speak the language of the under-educated and isolated America that has prided itself on tradition and resistance to change, cultivating vitriol and lies as acceptable talking points rather than cordiality and honesty; there is no care or intelligence in the language that he speaks.
Some might say that his actions and rhetoric are much needed in America, that there is a sensitivity in the US today that is devouring reason and logic (see: pejorative terms for liberal above, links), but — as proven through the preponderance of “alternative facts” and outright discrimination — it is more reasonable to conclude that there is actually a carefully considered sensitivity and open-heartedness that is being challenged by some of the most nefarious forces in society , much in complement to historical trends (from challenges to science, abolition, women’s rights, and so on), and very much championed by the current President.
Otherwise, Milo Yiannopoulos has gripped the nation with his clutches of hatred and far-less than intelligent talking points, and Richard Spencer seig-heils as he begs for sympathy from those whose comfort, lives, and families are not put at risk with of his rise to power. Breitbart has suddenly become an acceptable news agency, ******** is looked upon with kindness by the President and “real” America, and reinforcing stereotypes and ignorance with psuedo-scientific evidence and occultist philosophies (in the drive for a war of civilizations) has yet to be challenged by an American Conservatism that once only sought to keep its ideology confined to the economy.
The Liberals of today will have no more of it. They are sick of their movements and thoughts being categorized and then propagated in the forms of hateful memes and brief talking points. They are tired of the most secure groups in society claiming to represent the voices of reason as they cling to supremacy and accept hate as equality. Albeit, current progressive movements are showing unity and support for one another in general, but have allowed for their broad movement to take on various voices, directed by real leaders. The women’s march came to be dominated by experienced organizers, who inspired millions across the world to take to political activity. The #NoBanNoWall movement enjoyed immigrant rights organizers taking control of the reigns, and was directed by the ACLU and other prominent organizations that enabled the voices of the damned and the furious to be heard. Other movements, to include LGBTQ rights movements; Black Lives Matter, Latinx aceptance, and Muslim security movements; and Scientific championing movements have taken their positions in war-rooms across the United States (and the World), with generals at the table rather than various shouting voices, in order to advance real policy change and overall unity.
So long as the Left continues to delegate power and appoint true leaders to head their many movements, with the goal of Progressively altering the political and social landscapes (taking back office and fighting for policy change), their failure is not guaranteed, but rather…obviated. Though the Right and its adopted, radical children continue to try to shout down the Left, the heart of Progress cares no more.
The Left is on offense now (no offense), and is readying itself to battle rival tides in 2018 and 2020.
The Justice Party and Progressive Democrats have taken the mantle.
The Scientific Community, Ethnic and Religious Minority Communities, and the Community of “Nasty” Women, and all of their neighbors and friends have surged to strengthen the tides of change in what some might call a ludicrous era.
Defending America and her allies’ interests abroad has now become the cause of the Left, but ensuring that human rights violations and regressive education or anti-scientific movements no longer flourish has remained with them, too. When it comes to defending American values, and human values, there seems to be no pause in the beating, bleeding heart of liberals. “Tolerance” is not the game of Progressivism, but “honesty,” “reason,” “thoughtfulness,” and “resistance to hate” are.
And if fire burns in the heart of an increasingly radical right, it should be known that a blizzard is coming to put it out. News reports from the People’s Republic of Berkeley, Ca., on March 4 during the Pro-Trump rally mislabeled the fights which broke out as being between Trump supporters and anti-Trump demonstrators.
But these were not your typical anti-Trump demonstrators as the video below proves.
Surveying the footage from the riots at Berkeley on March 4, you will notice professionally made signs and banners with the website RefuseFascism.org popping up in the background.
Just who and what is RefuseFascism.org? If you are a traditional Democrat, listen carefully. RefuseFascism.org is a Communist front group and the initiator, or founder, is the unhinged conspiratorial, psycho Sunsara Taylor, who recently appeared on FoxNews with Tucker Carlson.
Ms. Taylor is a writer for RevCom.us, which proudly declares itself “The Voice of the Revolutionary Communist Party, USA!”
They are the group who, in the name of humanity, would like for America to join them in throwing off the shackles of personal liberty, the free market, Religion (especially Christianity), and private land ownership. May First Is Comming
“Weimerica” is a common term for neoreactionaries and right wingers disgusted with the decadent culture and self-hatred of the modern United States. But it took on a whole new meaning Saturday when street fighting between organized groups of the Left and the Right broke out in Berkeley, California as antifa tried to shut down a free speech rally. And by all accounts, it was the nationalists who came out on top.
Naturally, the Main Stream Media is outraged. The same people who were feting antifa violence at the inauguration and writing puff pieces about the Black Blocs are demanding a crackdown. One Shane Bauer of Mother Jones spent the day chronicling the Left’s defeat and occupied himself the following morning screaming for everyone (including President Trump) to condemn the right wing protesters. Of course, it was Mother Jones which wrote a gushing article about antifa just after Richard Spencer was sucker punched. The MSM seems utterly determined to ignore the core truth at the heart of the violence in Berkeley—it was the antifa who showed up determined to cause trouble and deny others their right to free speech. Indeed, this is the only thing antifa ever do, the sole purpose of their entire existence. All antifa had to do to avoid violence was to not show up, much like there were no conservatives or nationalists attacking the tax protests against Donald Trump which took place around the country yesterday—nor, for that matter, the much-hyped post-Inauguration “Women’s March.”

In March, Trump backers were once again attacked by Leftist mobs as they took part in a nationwide series of rallies to support the president. Once again, police did little. However, they did arrest one Kyle Chapman, aka “Based Stick Man,” for defending himself against protesters.

Saturday, however, was different. Antifa has been quite open about their desire to “shut down” the rally [Why The Bay Area Must Shut Down the Alt-Right Rally on April 15th, IndyBay, April 5, 2017]. So nationalists came prepared for violence, knowing the police would not protect them. And that’s precisely what happened—it just didn’t end the way antifa thought it would.
In short, Leftists started it, Rightists finished it.
What is really happening here: the American Right is finally learning to fight back, both ideologically and physically. They are breaking the taboos of the past. And powered by the freewheeling internet culture that spawned the new nationalism, the Trump supporters who rolled out to defend conservative speakers were dressed in colorful, often humorous costumes, as opposed to the grim, blackclad antifa, the staid enforcers of the status quo.
Such conflicts are likely to escalate. Universities are now increasingly open about their desire to simply ban speech they don’t agree with. On Friday, Alabama’s Auburn University, gave in to the “heckler’s veto” by banning Richard Spencer from campus because of “credible evidence that it will jeopardize the safety of students, faculty, staff and visitors” [Updated event on Spencer event at Auburn, Auburn University, April 14, 2017]. Naturally such threats are only coming from the Left.
Spencer, for his part, has vowed to show up at Auburn on April 18 anyway. The MSM, is doing its best to pin the blame for any violence on Spencer himself— even the “conservative” Washington Times described the head of the National Policy Institute in weasel-like fashion as “accused of espousing Nazism” and made sure to use a photo of him scowling. Regardless of what happens in Alabama, it is also all but certain there will be another Battle of Berkeley in two weeks, when Ann Coulter is scheduled to speak in California on April 27.
All of this was predicted even before Trump was inaugurated. And as VDARE.com Editor Peter Brimelow wrote after attending the Inauguration:
The leaders of what I have called the nation of “Anti-America” have always been absolutely conscious that there is still time for the Historic Nation of America to unite, to throw off what from a demographic point of view is undeniably a Minority Occupation Government, and to stop its Electing A New People through immigration policy. And they are absolutely determined to prevent the Historic Nation of America from uniting—by “any means necessary.”
But to their horror, it seems to be happening anyway. Hence their anti-Trump tantrum.
We’re facing what was called in the case of the Civil War an irrepressible conflict.
But this is America. People have guns. It will come to blood.
It is now clearly inevitable that someone is going to get killed, on one side or the other.
What’s truly incredible: even now, the American Right is still fighting with one hand behind its back, receiving no support from its supposed political leaders, including Donald Trump.
Though President Trump has gone out of his way to praise his non-white supporters, he has not once specifically praised the European-Americans who were at the core of his winning coalition. Even worse, he has not once defended his supporters who are being attacked on the streets and fighting in his name.
Trump may be President of the United States, but it is still very dangerous to wear a MAGA hat or Trump shirt in some cities.
In contrast, Leftists of the most extreme variety still enjoy adoring MSM coverage and official support from academia, as well as a “hands off” approach from law enforcement.
Consider Yvette Felarca of By Any Means Necessary, an extreme Left wing activist in Berkeley who has been quite open about using violence in the past to shut down speech with which she disagrees [Middle school teacher with history of instigating violence plays key role in Berkeley riot, by Victor Skinner, EAGNews, February 2, 2107]. The Daily Californian went out of its way to describe libertarian activist Lauren Southern as a “controversial right-wing speaker” and a “right-wing radio host.” But Felarca was simply identified as a “BAMN organizer” and quoted about how her group is “here to stand against… the whole Trump administration.” [Free Speech Rally in Berkeley results in several injuries, 20 arrests, April 15, 2017]
Of course, the “whole Trump administration” doesn’t seem to care too much about what is happening one way or the other. Even Attorney General Jeff Sessions, though he is taking action on immigration, has not cracked down on “antifascist” or extreme leftist groups around the country who openly declare their intention to attack Trump supporters. There has been no effort to secure free speech on campus by withholding federal funding from universities who deny the First Amendment.
And far from standing with his populist supporters, President Trump is reportedly on the verge of dismissing Breitbart head Steve Bannon, which threatens to sever his link with his populist base.
But the new movement that is emerging is not dependent on Trump himself. Indeed, Trump is merely a symptom of the larger counter-revolution against a hostile elite which thinks it has the right to control what Americans are allowed to think, say and vote for.
Americans increasingly recognize the totalitarian Left for what it is. And the Beltway Right and Donald Trump himself can either back up those who are willing to fight for America’s First Amendment rights or they will simply be left behind.
Translation: we’re right there with our communist employees who celebrate May Day. But no, we’re really not going to be biased…

Facebook Inc. said it won’t punish employees who take time off to join pro-immigrant protests on May 1. And, in a nod to security staff, janitors, shuttle-bus drivers and others who work for Facebook contractors on campus, the company also said it will investigate if any of its vendors illegally crack down on their employees’ protest rights.
“At Facebook, we’re committed to fostering an inclusive workplace where employees feel comfortable expressing their opinions and speaking up,” a spokesman wrote in an emailed statement. “We support our people in recognizing International Workers’ Day and other efforts to raise awareness for safe and equitable employment conditions.”
Facebook notified employees of its policy in a posting on an internal forum April 14. A spokesman said it applies regardless of whether workers notify the company ahead of time. If you follow protests, you might know it.
What it means, generally in leftist protests, there are people often designated to get arrested to draw more attention to whatever is being protested.
However, I’ve never seen something like this in writing with police being toadies, asking the protesters what will be their pleasure.

It goes without saying that this compliant “may we help you, leftists” department is the Berkeley Police Department, the same folks who stood down during antifa attacks on pro-Trump supporters over the weekend, and who didn’t stop the subsequent brawls.
‘Refuse Fascism’ Group Behind Berkeley Riot Received $50k from George Soros
The Alliance for Global Justice, which is funded by the George Soros-backed Tides Foundation, reportedly donated $50,000 to fund Refuse Fascism, which openly brags about using violence to shut down conservative and libertarian speech.
“While it is unclear whether those who carried out the violence were paid to do so, the benefactors of the Alliance for Global Justice — and Refuse Fascism — are listed online,” reported the Daily Caller. “According to its most recent 990 tax form, Alliance for Global Justice (AfGJ) received $2.2 million in funding for the fiscal year ending in March 2016. One of the group’s biggest donors is the Tides Foundation, a non-profit funded by billionaire progressive philanthropist George Soros. Tides gave AfGJ $50,000.”
“Other notable donors include the city of Tucson and the United Steel Workers labor union. The former gave $10,000 to AfGJ while the latter contributed $5,000,” they continued. “Charities associated with several major corporations also donated. Patagonia.org, the outdoor apparel and equipment company, gave $40,000. The Ben & Jerry Foundation, the charity associated with the ice cream maker, gave $20,000. And Lush Cosmetic gave $43,950. Another bit of irony is seen in the $5,000 contribution from the Peace Development Fund, a group that claims to support organizations that fight for human rights and social justice.”
The group defended the violent riot at Berkeley on Facebook, which left numerous Trump supporters and fans of MILO injured and bloody, before deleting their post.
“Dismantling police fences is not violent,” they claimed, according to the Daily Caller, ignoring the rest of the violence that occured. “And to compare preventing someone like that from speaking to the real-world violence that they perpetuate everyday is ludicrous.”
Refuse Fascism also branded the riot as “righteous,” and encouraged more violence to shut down conservatives in a post on their website.
“Last night, thousands of students, professors and others protested the appearance and organizing rally of Milo Yiannopoulos, a major fascist operative, shutting it down. This was righteous and much more like this is needed,” the group proclaimed. “Lets be clear: Milo Yiannopoulos is not engaging in ‘free speech.’ He is consciously spearheading the Nazification of the American University.”
The riot started at UC Berkeley on Wednesday after protesters against Breitbart Senior Editor MILO became increasingly violent outside of his show.
“Anti-fascists” started several fires, smashed windows and ATMs, looted downtown stores, attacked cars, and assaulteddozens ofMILO fans, male and female, who they falsely accused of being “Nazis.”
Despite the large amount of violence, numerous reports indicate that police officers refused to intervene, and only one suspect was arrested.
UFC veteran and professional MMA fighter Jake Shields was even forced to rescue a man who was being assaulted by left-wing rioters after police allegedly refused to intervene.
“Like fifteen people were trying to attack him and others were cheering them on,” explained Shields, who managed to successfully rescue the man, in an interview with Breitbart News. “No one helped, no one had the balls to step in, so my reaction was to run in and start picking people off.”
“More chaos started happening, so I went up to the police and tried bringing them back, but they were just like ‘we’re not really going over there. You should just stay away.’” he continued. “I don’t know if they were taking orders from someone or if they were just being lazy. I don’t know what the situation was, but it was pathetic to watch. Our police, who are supposed to defend the citizens of Berkeley. It’s a sad scene that they would allow that.”
The national co-coordinator for the Alliance for Global Justice, Chuck Kaufman, claimed he wasn’t aware that Refuse Fascism were involved in the riots, but defended their involvement citing the fact that numerous far-left groups joined in.
“I wasn’t aware that Refuse Fascism was involved, but probably they were one of a whole lot of groups calling to shut down Milo Yiannopoulos’ hate speech,” said Kaufman to The Daily Caller. “AfGJ acts as fiscal sponsor for Refuse Fascism which means we process tax-deductible donations for them. As long as their use of the money falls into areas permitted for tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organizations, we don’t involve ourselves one way or the other in their program work.”
Several celebrities and news outlets expressed support for the riot, including Hollywood director Judd Apatow, who deleted his tweet shortly after, and Fusion, who smeared MILO as a “Nazi,” before praising rioters.
The day after, MILO’s tour bus was tracked down by “anti-fascists” and vandalized, forcing both him and his team to evacuate the premises after his location was leaked online.
Four anti-fascists were also arrested last week after they became violent during a protest against libertarian commentator and VICE co-founder Gavin McInnes, who was speaking at New York University.

Looks like the second trial against University Of Cincinnati Police Officer Ray Tensing, who was involved in shooting a suspect that attempted to flee and nearly ran him over, has thankfully resulted in a mistrial.
Even better, it's been raining buckets today (home weather stations says almost exactly 3.75" so far today!) so the local wildlife has been pretty quiet. I was actually downtown in the city when the trial was declared a mistrial. Made sure I got out to the Green Zone as quickly as I could.
Weather is supposed to be pretty nice this weekend though so who knows what the local community agitators have planned. Just so it doesn't happen when I'm down there...
