Last night was cold... negative numbers here, this morning when I woke up and looked the temp outside was 29. That was, as Ryan put it, a "heat wave" compared to last night.
I hate the cold anyway - but this negative number crap sucks bad.
TWC's Jim Cantore knees an idiot that tries to tries to tackle (?) him and keeps reporting on the incoming snow/ice storm in South Carolina:
BWAAA HAHAHAHAA! Threw him a knee and kept on talking. Pretty level headed. +1 to Jim.
2 days off. Possibly due to Illuminati weather control.
Clearly the fault of the Haliburton Weather Machine and Bushitler.
Looking at this next week. ugh.

Yep, just caught wind of 2 possible systems in the next week. Going to start researching them later.
We've gotten lots of smaller 2"-4" storms this winter which have put us above average total snowfall but they've always melted off in between.
Would be nice to get one big +6" blast before winter is over.
Well, I have some travel next week and my wife doesn't do snow removal, so coming home to 14 inches of snow melted into a 4 inch ice block will suck until May when it melts.
Worst of all, my flight is Wed morning...somewhat in the thick of it. sheesh.
Could always pay someone to come out and clear it.
Don't you have a "pool boy" or something Mal?
:)
Women like that kind of thing.
No pool. We used to have a kid that did lawn cutting and snow removal but he ended up getting killed in an car accident.
Oh... man, sorry. :(
Yeah, it was a bit of a bummer. He was a hard working, good kid. Started hanging out with a dirtbag who ended up drunk driving into a tree. Killed Sean and the drunk scumbag walked away.
Isn't that the way it always goes?
The good die young.
We're only hours from this event and there still isn't a firm grasp on what is going to come down in my back yard. This storm was poorly sampled because of where it came from. It came up through Mexico preventing the NWS from getting readings on it.
Last update was that ILN has issued an Ice Storm Warning for my area saying 2-4" of snow and .25-.5" of ice. There is a very sharp cutoff line with this storm. 50 miles north of me they could be seeing +12".
If the storm track shifts south, we get more snow. If it shifts north, the forecast ice could turn to rain.
Oh and...
So much for that whopper of a snow storm. Now we're just going to be a skating rink...

At least the utilities have done some serious tree trimming over the warmer months. Maybe we won't lose power. I'm set if we do though. Generators are all gassed up and kerosene heaters are topped off (looks like it was a good idea to buy those!).
