This guy, Zimmerman will not be found guilty of 2nd Degree murder if ANY of the data we've gotten so far is accurate.
Obama will stay in the headlines, but this is something being used by the left - an opportunity to remove the spotlight directly from Obama's record.
The fact that there have been a dozen murders since this happened that were black-on-black and black-on-white violence and NONE have made the news is apparent that the left isn't interested in being honest or fair about anything.
Mike Tyson thinks that George Zimmerman deserves violent retribution for the shooting of Trayvon Martin.
In an interview with Yahoo News about his upcoming one-man show in Las Vegas, the former heavyweight champion sounded off on the polarizing case:
"My personal feeling is that, as a young kid that was beat on by a bully, that was pretty much singled out—the guy [Zimmerman] stalked him, didn't follow instructions from a superior officer, when they said, 'Stop following the kid.' That tells you everything right there. But my all-around perspective, I wasn't there, I don't know what happened. But it's just so widespread and overt what happened. Even though this is the best country in the world, certain laws in this country are a disgrace to a nation of savages. It's a majority versus a minority. That's the way God planned it.
He didn't want to do something about it, He wanted us to do something about it. And if we don't, it's gonna stay this way. We have to continue tweeting, we have to continue marching, we have to continue fighting for Trayvon Martin. If that's not the case, he was killed in vain, and we're just waiting for it to happen to our children. He'll have gotten away with impunity. It's a disgrace that man hasn't been dragged out of his house and tied to a car and taken away. That's the only kind of retribution that people like that understand. It's a disgrace that man hasn't been shot yet. Forget about him being arrested--the fact that he hasn't been shot yet is a disgrace. That's how I feel personally about it."
In 1992, Tyson was convicted of raping Desiree Washington, a beauty pageant contestant, and served three years in prison.
George Zimmerman hasn‘t even been in jail for a single day and hasn’t been found guilty of anything yet (in fact, his trial hasn’t even started), yet Jesse Jackson is already trying to use Zimmerman’s shooting of Florida teen Trayvon Martin to push a fondly cherished wish of left-of-center Floridians.
That is, he’s trying to use the case as a pretext to repeal the “Stand Your Ground” law, which some observers have blamed for Martin‘s death at Zimmerman’s hands.
Laura Flanders of the Nation has video and the full quote in a short blog post:
George Zimmerman was behind bars Wednesday night, forty-five days and countless rallies after he went free after shooting unarmed high school junior Trayvon Martin in a Sanford, Florida, gated community. Zimmerman now faces the possibility of life in prison, but the Reverend Jesse Jackson, who has led some of those rallies, says that the mobilizing shouldn’t end.
“When Rosa Parks was arrested [for refusing to go to the back of the bus], if we had focused on the bus driver and not on the states’ rights law, we would have missed the point…. We must not just settle for Zimmerman, we must repeal the Stand Your Ground law.”
As luck would have it, Reverend Jackson and I were both at Ohio University as the news from Florida came in. Here’s what he had to say.
The internal logic of Jackson’s statement, comparing the case of the Montgomery Bus Boycott to the case of Trayvon Martin, might not be fully consistent with either. The bus boycott was enacted in order to protest a specifically racist policy, whereas the Stand Your Ground law applies with equal force to whites and blacks, and has no alleged racial motivation behind it. Moreover, Rosa Parks did not die as a result of the bus policy, nor were the bus company employees ever charged with a crime. Either way, it’s not clear that the shooting of Trayvon Martin is indicative in any way of a wider trend of racially motivated violence. In fact, it appears to be an isolated incident, which would make it just the opposite.
Is Reverend Jackson distracting from his own cause?

Blacks are 12% of the population and commit 50% of the murders.
It stands to reasons that stand your ground will encourage non-blacks to resist black murderers/robbers/rapists/thugs and therefore stand your ground will kill more blacks than any other race.
By Liz Goodwin | The Lookout – 4 hrs agoA Florida judge in the George Zimmerman case said in a surprise hearing on Friday that her husband has ties to a CNN legal analyst and commentator.
NeJame said on CNN Friday that Recksiedler wants to avoid "the appearance of impropriety" with this disclosure. NeJame said he referred Zimmerman to his current lawyer.
Zimmerman has spent two nights in jail on charges of second-degree murder, and will ask for bond in a hearing on April 20. He's charged with second-degree murder in the Feb. 26 shooting of unarmed black teenager Trayvon Martin. Zimmerman says he shot Martin in self-defense.
Correction:An earlier version of this article incorrectly stated the charges against Zimmerman.

It depends on whether or not Obama thinks riots will help his re-election.
If riots and police overreach help get him over the top, expect it to be very nasty.

Look any law that can be used against blacks like this is obviously racist - because they want to be able to get away with murder.
Fuck that shit, When they outlaw guns, I'll just be a fucking outlaw.

Re: Trayvon Martin Shooting
Media Censored SEVEN hate crime mob attacks in Grand Rapids (in ONE weekend)
(All 7 attacks were black mobs attacking white people. )
"You didn't hear about this is the media, but on the weekend of March 24th and March 25th at least seven white people were brutally beaten by mobs of blacks in Grand Rapids, MI. Five of the victims filed police reports. At least two other victims exist, and there are probably others. The local media has refused to report the cruel attacks and the authorities are resisting any serious charges.
I talked with one of the victims, 37 year old Jacob Palasek. He is a full time student and does computer work part time. He was attacked by a wolf pack of thugs on the corner of Sixth Street and Broadway in Grand Rapids, Michigan just after midnight on March 25th. The location is a mix of stores, offices, and residential neighborhoods. Jacob lives near where he was attacked.
As he was walking to his apartment, he saw three black males loitering. One was on a bicycle. The suspect on the bicycle rode up beside him. Suddenly the thug smashed him in the side of the head with a chain. He was hit two or three more times in the head with the chain before he broke loose and ran to the nearest home. He knocked on the door, hoping the owner would call the police.
All three of the black males then attacked him on the porch. They yelled “this is what you deserve you white piece of shit.” Jacob was hit in the head with the large chain more times. Jacob broke free again and hid behind a dumpster. The attackers initially chased him, but broke their pursuit and walked away. There were some cars driving by and the thugs may have thought a driver was calling 911.
All seven known victims were attacked within about six blocks of where Jacob was attacked. The victims were in their 30s, 40s, and 50s. Some of the victims were attacked during the day in broad daylight.
Jacob believes he could have died if he was hit with the chain more times. He still has bad headaches and has not been able to work since the attack. Jacob doesn't have insurance and can't afford the correct medical treatment. His landlord is now threatening to evict him from his apartment. Since he was not able to work, he has missed a rent payment. A victim's relief fund is planning to give him a small amount of money. However, police did not even tell him the fund existed so he applied very late. He is still waiting on the help.
The police listed aggravated assault with a weapon and ethnic intimidation, Michigan's state hate crimes law, on the police report. Jacob identified two of the perpetrators. However, police have told Jacob that the thugs will get off easy because they are only 17. Police told him that the thugs will not serve time in prison for the brutal hate crimes.
Police said that the suspects will not be tried as adults. They will only face juvenile boot camp instead of prison. A detective told Jacob that they believe all the attacks were racially motivated. The detective also told Jacob that he believed the Trayvon Martin media frenzy is what prompted the attacks. Jacob also believed that the thugs were seeking revenge for Trayvon Martin before the detective confirmed this belief.
To add insult to injury, not a single media outlet in all of Grand Rapids reported the brutal hate crimes. Jacob has contacted the local paper and his local news affiliates repeatedly. None will report the story. He has also contacted numerous politicians, none of whom has helped.
He even wrote to US Rep. John Conyers. Conyers is a black US rep from Detroit who was a co-sponsor of the Federal Hate Crimes Act. The exact stated purpose of the Federal hate crimes act was to help people like the victims in Grand Rapids. When someone is a victim of a violent racially motivated attack and the local authorities won't pursue serious penalties, the DOJ is supposed to pick up the slack and apply Federal hate crimes charges.
Eric Holder, who heads the DOJ, says he is investigating ways to charge George Zimmerman with a Federal crime. Think Eric Holder will concern himself with the white victims of horrific hate crime mob attacks in Grand Rapids?
For the past two years black on white racially motivated mob attacks have been occurring in the United States weekly. Local media outlets typically only have little blurbs about them and censor all mention of race. Numerous major media outlets now openly admit to having a policy of censoring black crime, so as not to “stigmatize” black people. Political correctness supersedes public safety. The response from the authorities has been one of constant downplaying. None of the perpetrators are ever charged with a hate crime.
Now it has reached a point where the media in some markets are refusing to even report black on white hate crimes. How many other horrific black on white hate crime mob attacks are going on that we have never heard about?"
They were already backpedaling after Mr Tingles(Chris Matthews) was forced to watch a video that showed Zimmerman's head took a beating.
Now it's a redirect to gun control, since race is DOA.

Race was always DOA... however... there are still people talking about it today. I just overheard a conversation about it. Wasn't pretty what they were saying. I won't repeat here, but suffice it to say they expect BIG things to come out of this. BIG....

WASHINGTON — Actor and comedian Bill Cosby says the debate over the killing of Trayvon Martin by a neighborhood watch volunteer should be focused on guns, not race.
In an interview on CNN’s “State of the Union” aired Sunday, Cosby said calling George Zimmerman a racist doesn’t solve anything. Cosby says the bigger question is what Zimmerman was doing with a gun, and who taught him how to behave with it.
Martin, 17, was shot in February. Cosby said during the interview, which was taped Thursday afternoon, that he once owned a gun but no longer does. He says there is a need to get guns off the streets, and that people should be taught to use every possible alternative before shooting someone.

George Zimmerman's attorney to file motion for judge recusal
Attorney Mark O'Mara says Judge Jessica Recksiedler has conflict of interest
Published On: Apr 16 2012 12:22:33 PM EDT Updated On: Apr 16 2012 12:48:48 PM EDT
SANFORD, Fla. - The attorney for George Zimmerman, the neighborhood watchman who shot and killed Trayvon Martin, is expected to file a motion on Monday for the judge to recuse herself from the case because of a possible conflict of interest.
Attorney Mark O'Mara said he plans to file the motion for Circuit Court Judge Jessica Recksiedler to recuse herself as soon as possible so a new judge could possibly be appointed by Zimmerman's Friday bond hearing.
O'Mara became Zimmerman's attorney after being recommended by attorney Mark NeJame, who was contacted by Zimmerman's family. Recksiedler's husband, Jason Recksiedler, works at NeJame's law firm. Recksiedler has been a judge for nine months and was chosen out of a lottery to oversee the trial.
At a status hearing Friday, Recksiedler asked for the motion to be filed before the Friday bond hearing.
"If you choose to file a motion to disqualify me as judge, it has to be filed in writing for me to address it," Recksiedler said. "If you do choose to file, we do have a bond hearing set for next Friday," she said, asking that the motion be filed before then.
Zimmerman, a 28-year-old neighborhood watch leader, shot and killed Martin, 17, in late February. Zimmerman claims the shooting was in self-defense, but state prosecutors say he profiled the teen and was the aggressor in the shooting.
Zimmerman was not immediately arrested because police said there was no evidence to refute his claim of self-defense.
Florida's "stand your ground" law came under fire, and the lack of an arrest in the shooting prompted marches, rallies and protests across the country.

I'm posting this here... because it's in Florida... and I don't know yet if there is a connection.
But, rather than start another thread, I'll put it here. I'll remove it later if we get information that this can't be connected. Sanford is a suburb of Orlando (on the NE side of Orlando) and I-4 runs right through both areas.....
Maitland is a few miles SW of Sanford.
Note that the article does NOT give the race of the person shot.
Man found shot inside car on Interstate 4
Bullet hole found in the car's windshield, witnesses say
Published On: Apr 16 2012 04:30:24 AM EDT Updated On: Apr 16 2012 12:50:52 PM EDT
Orange County, FLA - Eastbound lanes of Interstate 4 near Maitland reopened Monday morning, but police continue to investigate how a man was shot while driving on the roadway.
A man was found shot in the chest inside a Mercury Milan just after 3 a.m. near exit 90 in Orange County. The interstate reopened about three hours later.
According to Maitland police, a woman inside the car said she was looking at her cellphone when she heard a "pop." She called 911 after the man told her, "I've been hit, I've been shot."
The woman, described only as a family member of the victim, was not injured.
The shooting occurred as the vehicle drove in the center lane approaching an overpass, according to police, who said the man was able to drive the car to the side of the road.
A bullet hole pierced the windshield of the car, and one shell casing was found nearby, police said.
The man was taken to a hospital and was listed in critical but stable condition.
Police said the shooting does not appear to be related to road rage because the woman told them no other cars were around at the time of the shooting.
"It doesn't appear that there was any vehicles in close proximity, she didn't recognize anything being around her when the shot was fired," said Sgt. Louis Grindle of the Maitland Police Department.
Anyone with information that could identify the shooter is urged to call Crimeline at 407-423-TIPS.
