A Telling Dream
The following is a dream I had three times over Memorial Day weekend. It is as it will appear in the next issue of the Hand of Help newsletter. It was a sobering dream in many ways.
Dear Brethren,
Over Memorial Day weekend I was scheduled to speak in Lake Havasu Arizona. Since Las Vegas was the closest major airport and by far the cheapest ticket, Gene and I flew there having planned to spend the first night upon our arrival somewhere in the area, then make the drive to the meeting the next day.
After a four hour flight, some misunderstandings with the car rental agent, and a couple hours to get acclimated to the heat, we checked into our room without further incident.
That night I had a dream.

I dreamt I was standing beside a path leading into a forest, and although snow blanketed the ground, the path was still visible, clear, and well defined. Although I wasn’t cold in my dream, I could seem my breath and as I looked around trying to understand what I was seeing and why I was seeing it a beautiful buck made its way up the path toward me.
Although I can’t say I’ve seen many bucks up close this seemed like a fine specimen, regal in its bearing, almost prancing up the path with its head held high.
I stood beside the path unmoving, not wanting to spook the animal in any way. If it saw me it did not let it show as it passed by and continued trotting down the path.
I continued to watch it follow the path toward the forest until suddenly it veered off and began to make its way through the packed snow. Although its pace slowed and it was having a difficult time making headway once it veered off the path, the buck seemed stubborn in its insistence, and though progress was slow, it continued its march.
I started to look around for something else, not really understanding what I was seeing or why I was seeing it when a sharp crack drew my attention back to the buck. Although the animal was a good distance from me, I could see what had happened with great clarity.
The buck had stepped into a hole which had been masked by the snow, and had snapped its front left leg.
I didn’t know what else to do, so I just stood and watched as it forced itself up, and though evidently in great pain, it began to continue on its journey away from the path.
Its progress was slow, and I could hear the echoes of its bleating, but wounded as it was the animal was insistent in its purpose.
After some time the buck stopped suddenly and began to sniff at the air. An instant later the mournful sound of howling wolves reached my ears, and I understood what the buck had smelled.
With renewed vigor the buck tried to run, but hampered by its wound, its progress was slow.
I was so focused on the buck that at first I did not acknowledge the movement in my peripheral vision, but as they drew closer I shifted my focus and I could see the source of the howls approaching swiftly. At first it was one wolf, then two, then five, then an entire pack, all in a semi-circle chasing down the wounded buck as it tried to flee.
I was anxious to see what would happen, I strained to see every detail, but as the wolf pack drew closer and closer to the buck, I woke up.
Troubled by the dream I’d had, I prayed a prayer and tried to go back to sleep but no sleep would come.
The next morning we made our way to Lake Havasu, and after having our evening meeting, and a late night dinner, I went to sleep only to dream the exact same dream again. Everything was the same, from the path and the snow, to the buck and its broken leg, to the howls and the wolves, and to waking up fully alert just as the wolves were closing in on the buck.
Once again I prayed and tried to go back to sleep, and once again sleep would not come.
The next morning we had church, then drove a couple hours to a place called Aguila Arizona where we had some wonderful fellowship, then drove back to Las Vegas where we would catch our flight home the next morning.
It was already past midnight when we got in, and having preached twice and driven for about seven hours that day, I was as exhausted as a man can get.
I was asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow, and once again the same dream began to play out. Just as the wolves were ready to attack and take down the buck I was awoken by a loud noise coming from the pullout sofa in the room. It was Gene. He was snoring.
I was halfway to throwing a pillow at Gene and telling him to roll over, when I saw the man standing at the foot of the bed, arms crossed over his chest, and a half smile on his face.
‘Ask your question,’ he said.
‘Why can’t I see what happens? Why can’t I see the end of the dream?’ I asked.
‘Because it is inconsequential,’ he answered.
‘The instant the animal wandered off the path and wounded itself, its end was a certain and foregone conclusion. It matters not which wolf fells it.
Once it is felled, they will all feast. The same can be said of this nation with one exception.
The animal had no one to help it, this nation rejected the help offered it believing it could heal its own self of the wounds it had inflicted upon itself.
The wolves have gathered. They sense the weakness, they smell the blood, and they are confident in the outcome of their endeavor.’
In an instant the man was gone, and I found myself standing halfway out of bed with a pillow in my hand pondering what I had just heard.
We reject repentance at our own peril. We reject righteousness, sanctification and the pursuit of holiness to our own detriment. Though there is safety on the narrow path we’ve taken it upon ourselves to blaze our own trail, indifferent to the untold perils and dangers awaiting those who stray.
I wish with all my heart I could write happy things in my letter to you today, I wish I could tell you the sun will come out tomorrow and the storm clouds will pass, but our refusal to accept God’s help, our refusal to submit and humble ourselves before Him only hastens judgment.
The wolves have gathered, the hunt begins, and this weakened nation is the prey.
I will now repeat what I preached on during one of the aforementioned meetings because I believe it is relevant, timely, and apropos. The level of your relationship with Christ today, will determine whether you stand or fall by the wayside tomorrow. Know that you are resting in Him, know that you draw your strength from Him, and know that you have placed your hope and trust in Him.
On Christ the solid rock we stand, for truly, all other ground is sinking sand.
Psalm 124:6-8, “Blessed be the Lord, who has not given us as prey to their teeth. Our soul has escaped as a bird from the snare of the fowlers; the snare is broken and we have escaped. Our help is in the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth.”
With love in Christ,
Michael Boldea Jr.
It is virtually impossible for a man to undergo the process of repentance if he has no idea of his inherent need. Only the sick are in need of a doctor. All others live as if there is no problem. The reward, or level of judgment, if you will, will be absolutely appropriate in every case.Quote:
We reject repentance at our own peril. We reject righteousness, sanctification and the pursuit of holiness to our own detriment. Though there is safety on the narrow path we’ve taken it upon ourselves to blaze our own trail, indifferent to the untold perils and dangers awaiting those who stray.
Fox anchor asks viewers to consider if bombing Syria is a harbinger of the Second Coming of Christ

Fox News anchor Neil Cavuto on Monday devoted an entire segment to the possibility that a United States attack on Syria could be a sign of the End Times, a period in which Christians believe that Jesus Christ will return to face the emergence of the Antichrist.
“This Syria stuff is way old,” Cavuto explained. “I mean Old Testament old. That’s how old I’m talking about. Don’t laugh. Some biblical scholars say it’s all there in black and white.”
The Fox News host invited author Joel Rosenberg to weigh in on the link between the Syrian conflict and the Bible passages, which he said were “uncanny” and “kind of scary.”
“These are prophecies more than 2,700 years old, some of them, but they have not actually been fulfilled,” Rosenberg said. “But this prophecy, as you just pointed out, talks about the complete and utter destruction of Damascus. That’s an End Times or eschatological prophecy.”
“It’s a very sobering thought to think that a judgment of a city or a country could happen in which an entire city could be wiped out, but that is, in fact, what the Bible is predicting,” he added. “I think it’s wrong for people who teach Bible prophecies to guess — I mean, in a sense try to say for certain it’s going to happen now.”
“But you have 7 million Syrians that are already on the run, 2 million have left the country, 5 million are internally displaced. That Jeremiah 49 prophecy says that people will flee, but there will still be people in Damascus when the prophecy happens. So, the bottom line is that we don’t know if these two prophecies — Isaiah 17 and Jeremiah 49 — will happen in our lifetime or soon, but they could because they haven’t happened yet.”
“Amazing,” the Fox News host observed. “It’s in in there. It’s worth a read.”
Cavuto and Rosenberg did not speculate if one of the current world leaders could be the Antichrist at the time of Christ’s Second Coming.

Revelation 16:12 refers back to an historical event.
It refers to the ancient Babylonian empire... and the ingenious way
God's Anointed King from the East, Cyrus, conquered Babylon...
by drying up the Euphrates River, so his troops could secretly invade
the city by going under Babylon's wall via the dried up river bed.
Thus... Cyrus symbolically released the prophecy of Jeremiah 50 & 51
which had been previously bound to a rock and thrown into the Euphrates
at Babylon [Jeremiah 51:60-64.]
Also see Revelation 9:14.

Hi Is45!
:welcome:
Is45, are you approaching prophecy, Revelation, Biblical eschatology from some form of preterist perspective?
No, not at all.
However...
The Bible... and especially the book of Revelation... contains historical symbols, archetypes
that refer back to Old Testament history for imagery used in future prophetic events.
For example... in the book of Revelation, the end-time evil empire is called Mystery, Babylon...
it is the third incarnation of Babylon... the first being the Tower of Babel... the second being
the ancient Babylonian empire. Babylon is an important symbol... archetype... and archenemy
of the ancient Israelites. The fact that the symbol of Babylon was used in Revelation gives
unspoken [symbolic] insight into the nature and character of the end-time evil empire.
Knowing Bible and secular history related to the ancient Babylonian empire and God's Anointed King
from the East, Cyrus, who conquered Babylon... and understanding how symbols used in Revelation
relate to that historical event... will give one interesting insight into Biblical prophecy yet to be fulfilled.
.
With that said, that makes the USA Babylon III..... I can't WAIT to see what Babylon V is....
Just so I understand where you're coming from, in your estimation, Cyrus' conquering of Babylon is a Biblical type for the future prophetic event defined in Revelation 16:12?
Mystery, Babylon is the third and last incarnation of Babylon...
it is the last end-time evil empire.
Interestingly... there were also three incarnations of Rome...
both west and east... Holy Roman Empire and Third Rome...
both destroyed and replaced by the third incarnation of Babylon.
According to Bible scholars, Rome was the one who "restained"
the coming of global antichrist rule. The third incarnation of the
eastern Roman empire, Third Rome - Tsarist Russia, fell in 1917.
The third incarnation of the western Roman empire, Holy Roman
Empire - Third Reich, fell in 1945.
When the Babylonian end-time evil empire falls... God's Kingdom
on earth will arise.
.
Yes... and not only Rev 16:12...
but also other imagery used in Revelation is a symbol of Cyrus.
For example... white horses were sacred to the ancient Aryan Persians.
The ancient Persians used white horses in their grand processions to carry
the chariot of their king and the chariot of their one invisible god. They also
took white horses into battle.
Cyrus took sacred white horses with him in his war campaign against Babylon.
According to ancient Greek historians... it was an incident with one of Cyrus'
white horses that gave him the brilliant idea to dig canals so the water of the
Euphrates River could be diverted... so Cyrus' troops could secretly enter Babylon
by going under Babylon's wall along the dried up river bed.
The ancient Israelites were very familiar with this history... they had been in bondage
to Babylon for 70 years... and Cyrus was their God Anointed Liberator [see Isaiah 45.]
Cyrus decreed a portion of Israel return to Jerusalem and rebuild the temple [Ezra 1.]
Israelites lived under Aryan Persian benevolent rule for 200 years.
.
I agree, as an Orthodox christian, that Czarist Russia's fall in 1917 released what the 'Restrainer' (a certain person, from the language used, I interpret as the Martyr Czar Nicholas, Czar Nicholas pray for us!) was holding back, the forces of Antichrist. The Bolshevik Revolution in 1917 confirmed this prophesy, and the Bolshevik Revolution can thus also be identified as the 'Beast whose mortal wound by the sword was healed'. When full-blown open Communism is revived-and it will be-it will be a political earthquake that will rock the world to it's foundations.
Tsar Nicholas II was deposed and the Third Rome was destroyed
first by the February democratic revoluton... a revolution that was
praised and supported by America who sought to replace European
Christian monarchy with secular democracy. After the democrats
deposed Russia's Christian Tsar and destroyed Russia's 900 year old
Christian monarchy... it destabilized Russia... paving the way for the
horrific October bolshevik revolution a few months later.
The reign of the antichrists is not future... it is nearing its end...
70 years after 1917... antichrist communism began to fall in Russia...
70 years from 1945... global antichrists [Babylon] will be deposed.
.
I have to say I respectfully disagree with the notion of no personal Antichrist. if that's what I read correctly from what you've said. However, it is well known from the letters of st. John in Scripture that 'even now there are many antichrists...' Nonetheless there is also the one who will sit in the 'temple of God' (the Church) as if he were God', the 'Man of Lawlessness' described by st. Paul.
Many American Christians who believe in "The Antichrist" say he will sit in
a newly rebuilt temple in Jerusalem... that is why they blindly support the
antichrist jew state that has usurped God's Holy Land under false pretenses.
The Bible says there are many antichrists and they have existed since the time
of Christ. But only when that which restrains the antichrists [the Roman empire]
is taken away will the lawless one... the man of sin... the one who sits in God's temple
impersonating God... be revealed. Your body is supposed to be the temple of God.
But now God has been replaced... this satanic antichrist world order has substituted
man for God... substituted man's law for God's law... sustituted humanism for Christianity.
We are now living in the time of universal lawlessness... when people worship the
creature [themselves] rather than the Creator... when evildoers have come to the full...
and the tares are ripe for harvest.
